Made of 100% cotton on a traditional handloom by a master weaver, the Ambar pillow elegantly blends traditions and festive hues with culture and modern aesthetics. It has a distinctive hand woven weave that combines multiple threads of yarn to create an embossed stripe that runs elegantly across the surface creating a statement detail that adds texture and character.
The pillows comes in two variations -

Designed to coordinate with our hand woven Indra Sujani Throw, it pairs effortlessly across the entire Mosaic collection for desired pillow and throw layering options.

India's handloom weaving tradition is a living archive of a rich textile legacy that has spanned over thousands of years.
The hand loom weaving creates the characteristic "slub" texture that no machine can replicate where each piece is truly one-of-a-kind carrying the artisan's signature. No two pieces are the same.
Handloom weaving in India is seeing a gradual decline over the years. The handloom cluster we support had hundreds of looms a couple of decades ago, only a fraction of them currently remain.
Our hand loom pillows are slow textiles that are hand crafted with a design-forward contemporary aesthetic that preserve tradition with a refined elegance.

- 100% cotton in medium weight hand loom fabric.
- Hand woven using unbleached natural white and hand-dyed cotton yarns.
- Tassels, if included, are hand made.
- To ensure heirloom quality, the pillow is fully lined inside, finished with a premium YKK zipper in the back and stitched to perfection.
