Osira Sujani Throw
Description
The art of Sujani weaving is a traditional craft from the western region of India that is currently practiced by only a handful of artisans. The Sujani weave is an intricate process where artisans fill soft cotton into the fabric as they weave, creating a naturally quilted, cushioned texture without the use of stitching. This technique gives the throw its beautiful weight and drape, offering the soothing comfort of a weighted blanket while remaining breathable and soft to the touch.
The Osira Sujani Throw coordinates with our Jodha pillows in colors of beige, indigo and a natural white where the rich textures of handloom add artisanal layers to contemporary spaces. The throw ages with grace over time, becoming softer with every use, as all heirlooms should. Generously sized to serve as a single coverlet, it adds warmth, comfort and artistry to any space. Each piece is finished with neat edging on all sides and adorned with four large handmade tassels at each corner, signatures of our Mosaic collection.
Please expect minor imperfections in our products. They are not flaws. They are emblems of our hand crafted process. A testament that every piece was made by an artisan's hand.

Design
The centerpiece of the Mosaic collection, our artisanal Sujani throws are designed to bring one of the rarest and most iconic Indian crafts into contemporary spaces.
Made on a hand loom, the textures, colors and finishing of our throws aim to present this heritage craft in a new light that will carry it forward for years to come.
The hand made tassels give the elegant and soft throw a bold voice announcing its presence.
Our work supports the preservation of this diminishing craft and the communities that practice it.
